Warm Homes Plan
The Warm Homes Plan: Making British Homes Energy Independent
The Warm Homes Plan is a landmark £15 billion initiative designed to upgrade 5 million UK homes by 2030. It’s more than just a grant; it’s a national mission to lower energy bills, reduce reliance on gas, and ensure every family lives in a warm, comfortable, and sustainable home.
What’s included in the plan?
Through our partnership with the Warm Homes Plan, we help you access:
- Heat Pump Grants: Up to £7,500 for air-to-water systems and a new £2,500 grant for air-to-air cooling/heating units.
- Solar & Battery Storage: Support to triple the number of UK homes with rooftop solar, significantly reducing monthly electricity costs.
- Insulation & Efficiency: Fully funded packages for loft, cavity wall, and underfloor insulation to "seal in" the warmth.
Who can apply?
The 2026 scheme is designed to support everyone, with specific priority groups:
- Low-Income Households: If your household income is £36,000 or less, you may qualify for 100% fully-funded upgrades (up to £12,000 in value).
- Homeowners (Able-to-Pay): Access to universal £7,500 grants for heat pumps and new 0% interest loans for solar and battery installations.
- Private Renters & Landlords: New protections ensure all rental properties reach an EPC Rating of C by 2030, making homes safer and cheaper for tenants.
How do I get started?
Getting your home ready for winter 2026 is a simple 3-step process:
- Check Your EPC: Your home must usually be rated D, E, F, or G. (Don't worry—if you don't have a current certificate, we can help you find it).
- Register Your Interest: Use our online eligibility checker to see which grants apply to your specific postcode and income bracket.
- The Home Survey: If eligible, a qualified surveyor will visit your home to design a tailored "Warm Homes" package—at no cost to you.
